Victoria Park in Ilkeston will be holding a Nature Photography Day on Saturday 15th June.
The event is being supported by Ilkeston Arts and Camera Club.
Those joining in can take inspiration from some stunning photographs that will be on display in the pavilion building and get hints and tips on how to capture the many aspects of nature in the park.
Photographers of all ages and experience levels are invited to enter their best images from the day into a competition which will then be judged by the Ilkeston Arts and Camera Club.
There’s also an opportunity to feature in the autumn edition of the Erewash Borough Council’s EBC Today magazine (images to be no larger than 2MB).
Entries can be sent to Erewash Borough Council’s community ranger Debbie Stayte at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Cllr Mike Wallis, commented: “Anyone with an interest in photography and nature will enjoy this special day, with the chance to also get advice and tips from some experts.
“We hope to see lots of competition entries, there is an abundance of opportunities to capture nature at its finest at the moment and I’m sure we have lots of budding and experienced photographers in the borough just waiting to have their talents discovered.
