With loved-up couples becoming increasingly bamboozled with the endless choices on offer when it comes to weddings, what better way to plan your big day than doing it all in one fell swoop?
Ok, you might think that’s a bit daunting – and leaving it all to the experts is probably the safe bet… but if you were given a few pointers and tips, surely you could take it on yourself?
That’s what local DIY wedding expert Laura Stroud believes.
She’s launching a brand new, one-day wedding planning masterclass to help Derbyshire brides (and grooms) to plan their dream wedding.
She admits that planning a whole wedding in one day can seem like a pretty huge task, but with her guidance she’s confident it is possible.
Laura said: “If you follow the framework I provide and learn to focus on what you really want, rather than what the world tells you you should have, then you can learn how to plan with more focus. Helping to save money, time and stress!”
The average time spent planning a wedding is well over 500 hours.
Planning a wedding should be fun and stress-free, however it can often leave newly engaged couples wondering where to start and how to move forward.
Laura’s workshop will give couples a whole day to unpick a wedding coordinator’s brain, learn first-hand the dos and don’ts of DIY wedding planning.
Laura added: “I believe your wedding should be as unique as you are.
“I teach people how to make their wedding stand out, how to save money and to make sure they have clear priories – leading to a stress free and creativity wedding.”
The first course is running this April at Hargate Hall, spaces are limited.
