Rolls-Royce ‘Pebble Beach 2019’ collection

Rolls-Royce has unveiled its ‘Pebble Beach 2019 Collection’ in California, and it includes this trio of utterly gorgeous high-end vehicles in beautiful pastel shades.

Inspired by the hills, sand and sea surrounding the Pebble Beach area, this year’s collection is Rolls’ most colourful yet.

The complete collection includes 13 bespoke commissions, offered exclusively for clients attending Monterey Car Week 2019.

These will each be revealed during a series of exclusive activities hosted by the luxury marque throughout the week.

Rolls-Royce showed off a trio of their bespoke motor cars – The Pastel Collection – to showcase the creative capabilities of the artisan designers based at Goodwood (the only place in the world where Rolls-Royce motor vehicles are produced).

The Pastel Collection draws upon a perfect palette of colours from this year’s ‘wildflower superbloom’ on the Monterey Peninsula.

The collection includes three one-of-one Rolls-Royce Black Badge commissions adding new colours to the Rolls-Royce Bespoke palette and reaffirming the idea that a Rolls-Royce Black Badge doesn’t have to be black.

The Pastel Collection: Rolls-Royce Ghost

The collection starts with a Rolls-Royce Ghost Black Badge in ‘Light Green Solid’.

“The pastel green represents the rebirth of the flora on the peninsula following the years of drought and fire,” according to Rolls-Royce.

The Pastel Collection: Rolls-Royce Dawn

The drophead creation featuring in the stunning summer collection is the Rolls-Royce Dawn Black Badge in ‘Coral Solid’.

This “showcases the bespoke finish that can only come after seven coats of paint and more than nine hours of hand polishing in the surface finish centre at Goodwood.”

The new pastel colour carries over to the bespoke aero cowling, providing the car with a colourful yet aggressive exterior.

The Pastel Collection: Rolls-Royce Wraith

The final piece to complete the trio is a Rolls-Royce Wraith Black Badge in ‘Semaphore Yellow’.

It’s described as “a bright and sunny finish for the most powerful member of the Rolls-Royce family.”

The vehicle features a ‘Selby Grey and Lemon’ interior with the iconic Rolls-Royce Black Badge starlight headliner.
